Project Assistant
Baxter is a Project Assistant with the Avid PM team, currently in his third year of studying a Bachelor of Civil Engineering at the University of Newcastle, having completed his Higher School Certificate in 2023.
Prior to joining Avid PM, Baxter gained valuable hands-on experience working at a carwash throughout high school, where he was responsible for overseeing machinery maintenance, managing chemical supplies, and troubleshooting breakdowns and programming issues – coordinating promptly with trades to ensure operations ran smoothly.
At Avid PM, Baxter works alongside our Project Managers across a range of projects, providing support through document management, quality assurance, meeting and site inspection assistance, and tracking project progress to help keep timelines on track and projects moving forward efficiently.
Outside of work, Baxter enjoys spending time with friends and making the most of the outdoors. When the sun is out, you’ll find him at the beach or out on the boat wakeboarding. He also has a love of travel, whether it’s a trip overseas or a weekend camping adventure up the coast.
