Project Manager
Nick brings extensive industry knowledge and expertise to his role as Project Manager with Avid Project Management. With a Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) from Newcastle University, and holding MAIQS and CQS credentials with the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Nick is well-equipped to handle the complexities of his day-to-day responsibilities. These include overseeing project management, managing budgets, fostering stakeholder relationships and administering contracts.
Before joining Avid Project Management, Nick spent a decade working as a quantity surveyor, building deep expertise across diverse project types. Most recently, he served as Regional Manager for a private quantity surveying firm based in Sydney, where he ran the Newcastle office covering the north coast of NSW. His responsibilities included overseeing all day-to-day deliverables, preparing financier reports, and reviewing cost plans.
Throughout his career, Nick has worked on a wide range of projects across all sectors – including residential, land subdivision, commercial, hospitality, industrial, and aged care – with values ranging from $500,000 to over $200 million.
Outside of work, Nick keeps active with running and golf, and when winter rolls around, you’ll find him hitting the slopes for some snowboarding.
