High-end commercial project management
Key West, Newcastle
The Key West project, by Altim Property, repurposes the former Gamers Motor Auctions building on Parry Street, Newcastle. This transformation involved creating 13 high-end commercial spaces that combined modern amenities with historic architectural elements, thoughtfully designed by EJE Architecture.
Essential upgrades, such as moving high-voltage power lines underground, were planned to maintain its street presence, whilst the inclusion of a new chamber substation was crucial for providing adequate power supply.
Responding to contemporary business needs, the Key West development integrates indoor/outdoor spaces suitable for both medical and IT suites. It achieves a 5.5-star NABERS rating and includes provisions for electric vehicle charging and meeting sustainability requirements.
