Project Manager
Edouard Riat joined the team in early November 2022 as a Project Manager.
He studied a Masters in Industrial Constructions Engineering and holds a Certificate in Executive Real Estate. Edouard brings a wealth of knowledge to the team from his global engineering and management work.
Before working at Avid, Edouard worked as a Project Engineer in Brussels before taking on a 17-apartment building project as a Project Manager. He then worked for a real estate investment fund as a Project Manager before migrating to Australia in 2019. In Australia, Edouard worked as a Project Manager for the NSW Department of Education managing compliance projects and managed a number of projects for a Newcastle builder.
On any given day, Edouard manages project budgets and costs, engages in quality management, assesses briefs, attends internal and external meetings, and prepares tender documents and contracts.
Since joining Avid, Edouard’s favourite project to work on has been Chapter at 15 Watt Street, an eight storey multi residential and commercial building in the Newcastle CBD.
In his spare time, Edouard enjoys camping with his family over the long weekends and has recently started trying his hand at joinery.
