Fire safety and cladding remediation for a commercial building
26 Honeysuckle Drive
The $2 million 26 Honeysuckle Drive project involved the replacement of existing combustible cladding with a compliant non-combustible system in accordance with BCA/NCC 2019 and the Fire Safety Order issued for the building.
Avid Project Management oversaw the delivery of the works for Dexus Asset Management Limited, working alongside contractor Duratec Limited.
Managing compliance and remediation
The project involved the removal and replacement of existing cladding panels, together with new subframe works and associated caulking joints.
A key focus throughout delivery was ensuring the remediation works satisfied the requirements of the Fire Safety Order and current building compliance standards.
