Marine Rescue

Marine Rescue has developed a two-storey emergency services facility as critical infrastructure designed to improve maritime safety in the Newcastle Region. The facility is constructed on Crown Land near the south Stockton boat ramp, funded through the NSW Government’s Covid-19 Stimulus program. The base is fitted out with the latest generation marine radio equipment and includes dedicated training facilities, boat storage, volunteer amenities, crew-ready room and berthing facilities.
