Expanding contemporary teaching and learning facilities
Scone Grammar School – Stage 2
The $8 million second stage of the Secondary Teaching and Learning Centre expanded Scone Grammar School’s existing educational facilities, delivering new learning, staff and administration spaces across the campus.
Avid Project Management oversaw the delivery in collaboration with architect Gardner Wetherill and contractor North Construction & Building.
Enhancing the school campus
Stage 2 included an upper-level extension to the existing library and classrooms, creating new science laboratories and seminar rooms. The development also extended the Stage 1 facilities to provide a new staff room and main administration area.
External works included a new main entrance and car park, together with associated landscaping to improve access and amenity across the school campus.
Coordinating project delivery
AvidPM worked closely with the school, architect and contractor throughout the project, managing the design and construction process within an operational education environment.
Careful coordination of the works ensured the new facilities integrated effectively with the existing campus while supporting the school’s ongoing teaching and operational requirements.
